Why Your Practice Should Host its own Booking & Thank you Page

Your booking and thank you page are very important web pages responsible for conversions and lead generations. There are many benefits for your practice to host your own Booking or Appointment web page and Thank you page.

    Table of Content

The importance of a well designed Booking Appointment Page for your Healthcare Practice

    • Create an experience: As a practice, you want to create an enjoyable experience for your patient. This is why it’s important to have a well designed booking page that will help keep your branding consistent and not confuse the patient with multiple brands or confusing information.
    • Keeps patients coming back: After a patient creates a booking with your practice, their appointment details can be automated and located not only on the backend of your website but also triggered to be added automatically within your CRM, saving you valuable time with double entries. This allows them to book their appointment easily next time at their convenience, freeing up your receptionists’ time with the added benefit of being able to quickly send out a marketing message via an email marketing campaign or a broadcast post.

    Measure and improve

You can use Google Analytics to track conversions, which is the number of people who complete a desired action on your website or insightful information with number of users who looked at a particular page with an offer to determine if the copywriting of that offer is attractive enough. For example, if you have an appointment booking page that leads to a thank you page, then a “conversion” would mean that the patient has booked an appointment and this will be reflected in your own analytic reporting providing a holistic view of a user’s journey, ie, what page did the user initially land on when they arrived at your website, what traffic platform did this user first interact with ( ie, Google Search vs TikTok?). You can also set goals for specific pages within your website in order to better understand how users interact with those specific pages and where they might be getting stuck along the way (i.e., if they’re having trouble finding what they need). Without this valuable data, you will not understand where your users’ conversions took place from, not allowing your practice to make better informed business and marketing decisions.Having access to conversion data and a holistic view of their respective data analytics will provide meaningful insights for your website and ultimately your business decisions particularly surrounding marketing including devoting budget to certain channels that are converting than other channels or changing your offers or content type.

    Conclusion

The best way to get clear on what is working with your website is to ensure is by having your booking page hosted on your own website using the same domain. In our experience, we find that booking conversions increase when the booking pages are housed within the same domain and well designed. The data is invaluable to not just your website but to your practice’s overall ability to make sound business decisions.
